Parish Church of St. Augustine
Details
Description
This church a bit out of the ordinary compared to mountain churches, has the characteristic of being rather high, it was erected in 1775, while the bell tower dates back to 1780, originally the structure had only one nave, in 1869 following an expansion there were added two high aisles.
The valuable marbles inside were donated by the Perrone family of San Martino, owners of the copper mine in Ollomont, in fact in memory of this gesture, a coat of arms of the noble family is imprinted on the balustrade.
