Description
This museum details the history of this unique and special PDO cheese.
Structured on two floors, it houses three exhibition sections as well as a space dedicated to Aosta Valley crafts.There is a room used for the projection of films on the processing and production of Fontina, where all the stages of cheese processing are illustrated, a multimedia station and a sales point.
Entrance to the museum also includes a visit to the Fontina maturing warehouses, one of which is housed inside the old copper mine.
