Description

The museum is set up inside a 15th-century fortress house in the hamlet of Ayez, a house built of exposed stone with characteristic carved stone windows.
The Meison di Carnaval de la Coumba Freida exhibition has been set up with all kinds of material belonging to private individuals or from archives and schools.
It presents and makes known a deep-rooted and still very much alive tradition of one of the oldest carnivals in the Aosta Valley.
